Now taking orders for Summer 2005 delivery

          I am now taking orders for custom built giant scale war birds.  I build primarily traditional, built up (balsa & ply), Meister Scale aircraft, but will build others upon request.  I will paint and detail any model for an additional fee...just remember, time is money, and a good finish and detailing take lot's of both!  Occasionally I acquire new kit's, retracts, engines, etc. at reduced prices.   Also good condition used retracts & engines are sometimes available.   Ask what is available, I may have what you need!

Basic Building Fees

        The prices above are for basic construction of your airframe to a primed, ready to paint stage and include labor, glues and epoxies, fiberglass cloth and resin, and primer.  Alterations or modifications to plans can be done at an additional cost.  I will not make any modification or alteration that is not approved by the designer or manufacturer, or that I feel could compromise the structural integrity of the aircraft.  All necessary materials, kits, retracts, retract support equipment, servos, engine, hardware, radio gear, etc. are to be supplied by the customer.  As a non-profit service to my customers, I can supply any or all of the items listed above to you at my cost.   I do not make any profit on supplies.  

        I paint my warbirds with exterior latex paints, and can match any color. If you desire a natural metal finish on your aircraft the fee for this varies depending on your preference, Flite-Metal, or paint.  Please e-mail me to discuss this and get a quote.  Panel lines and rivet detail is also an available option.

        Insignia, i.e. "Stars & Bars", "German Cross's & Swastika", etc. are the responsibility of the buyer, as again, this is a personal preference, dry transfer, water slide, vinyl...I will apply which ever you provide.  For the most authentic insignias, I can paint them for an additional cost, this will vary depending on the aircraft and the desired level of detail, so again, please e-mail me for quotes.

Any aircraft painted to desired basic 3 color scheme is $800

                                   Full panel lines (upper and lower surfaces)  $600

Rivet detail (upper and lower surfaces)    $600

Panel lines on upper flying surfaces only  $400

Rivet detail on upper flying surface only   $400

**  All aircraft can be weathered to a level to suit your taste, e-mail me for a quote.

        I build a limited number of aircraft each year so reserve your building table now to avoid "Building Season" rush!

       Not all model airplanes are created equal!  To assure a top quality aircraft model, you have to start with top quality kit's and accessories. Please buy your kit's and gear from our list of approved cutters and manufacturers to avoid delays and problems.
